Two weeks down.... It’s been rough, but we are still both motivated. I went down by .1 for a total for 3 pounds. My sister is still at a stand still. However, she is not discouraged. She has made changes in her eating habits, and has stopped drinking sodas, breaking her addiction to Pepsis and Mountain Dews. I have confidence she will show a big difference next week.
In addition to cutting sodas out of her diet, she also started walking. I will continue to increase my cardio, drink water, and eat more balanced meals.
Just a few more tips to help with the weight loss challenge:
Drink water right before a meal
Drink green tea
Cook with coconut oil
Eat less refined carbs
Avoid foods with trans fat
Reduce your stress levels
Don’t drink too much alcohol (notice I did not say don’t drink alcohol, but drink less)
