We have one week under our belts, I’ve made some progress. I am lighter by 2.9 Pounds. Stephanie’s week was not so great. As a loving sister, I won’t rub it in her face. But it looks like I am on my way to winning that $100 dollars.
I’m not going to get too overly confident, because I know the struggle. I have been losing and gaining the same 5 to 7 pounds for a year now. For me, I have to take it one meal at a time, and have plenty of patience. I am focused because I have three (3) dresses hanging in my closet I would like to wear while in Aruba.
Starting a food journal has helped the process. When I record what I’ve eaten each meal, I am more conscious about what I eat and portion sizes.
Just a few more tips that helped me this week:
Increased my cardio - run/walk interval for 20 minutes + 25 minutes of just walking (3 days a week)
Trying to increase my water intake - this one is a struggle for me; trying to get to 10 cups a day
Doing spot weight training one day a week in addition to my two days with my trainer (focus on the back fat
Increased my fasting time - so I skipped breakfast, but this week I am going back to my protein shakes in the morning - I missed them.
