Cheers! I need to do more of this ...

Updated: Jul 29, 2018

Before Summer arrived, I took a trip to Raffaldini Vineyards and Winery. That day it was sunny and around 69 degrees with a light breeze, a perfect day to take a tour of the facility. Last year I wanted to do a vineyard tour during the summer, but life got in the way, and I never made it. There are so many vineyards in the area, and I plan to see as many as I can this year.

I am not a wine connoisseur by any stretch of the imagination (I only drink Moscato), so I am touring to learn a bit of history and see some beautiful country.

Raffaldini Vineyards was opened in 2003 by siblings Jay and Barbara Raffaldini. Their family is initially from Mantovo, Italy. The winery offers group wine tastings and vineyard tours. The vineyard is open to private label tours, photo shoots, engagement parties, corporate events, and weddings. They also host a variety of activities throughout the year for the public. After taking in the breath-taking view, I had an opportunity to taste nine different wines. Of course, my favorite was the La Dolce Vita, a sweet sparkling Moscato white wine with a perfect balance of sweetness.

If you have a chance in the near future, please take check them out. The drive is worth it, and I am sure you will find a bottle of wine you will enjoy.

Post in the comments your favorite vineyards.
